Policy Information:
Smoking Policy:
As a reminder to California Speedway
guests, there is NO smoking in the grandstands.
California Speedway will offer clearly marked
“smoking areas” away from the seating areas. In
accordance with San Bernardino County Ordinance 31.0215,
smoking is prohibited in any spectator seating area,
including outdoor athletic recreation bleachers or
similar area used for the viewing of sports and athletic
competition.
Tickets:
California Speedway is not responsible
for lost, stolen, misplaced, forgotten or destroyed
tickets. Tickets will not be replaced. Race Weekend
Ticket locations are subject to change, depending on the
event.
Lost And Found:
Lost items, children or parents can be
taken to, or claimed at, the Lost and Found
Tents/Information Booths. For NASCAR events,
these locations will be at Gates 13 (At the base of the
center elevator tower) and 50 (The main entrance to the
Infield Camping area). For road course events, these
locations will be at Gates 38 (Southwest corner of
Garage area) and 51 (Close to the base of the water
tower).
Following the event, all unclaimed
items will be held at the administration building for 30
days. Guests who have lost an item may stop by or call
909-429-5000 to inquire about a lost item. After 30
days, items will be donated to a local charity.
Approved Carry-in Items:
Fans may enter California Speedway with:
• One soft side bag / cooler, no larger than
6x6x12 inches. Examples include: a soft side insulated
cooler, a scanner bag, a fanny pack, a purse, a diaper
bag, etc. This one bag may be carried in any manner,
i.e. by handle, with shoulder straps, on a belt, etc.
The soft side insulated cooler may contain ice.
• One clear plastic bag, no larger
than 18x18x4 inches. To accommodate samples received and
purchases made after fans have parked their cars. This
one bag may be carried in any manner, i.e. by handle,
with shoulder straps, etc. Clear plastic bags may not
contain ice.
Note: Fans are allowed to bring in one
each of the bags described above.
• Binoculars, scanners, headsets,
cameras, not in a bag, worn separately over the neck or
on the belt and seat cushions carried separately are
also allowed.
• Seat cushion bags with compartments
will be reviewed on an individual basis.
All items brought through a grandstand
gate will be inspected.
Unauthorized Carry-in Items
The following may not enter the
admission gates:
• Firearms, Fireworks, Alcohol (ABC File
# 47-397398 Condition 4) and items restricted by Local,
State or Federal laws.
• Hard sided coolers, thermos, freezer / ice
packets and insulated cups of any size.
• Strollers, umbrellas, wagons, inline
skates, skateboards, bicycles, scooters (motorized
and/or manual), etc.
• Glass, aluminum and metal
containers.
• Any bags, backpacks, or containers
larger than the allowed size. Bags larger than 6x6x12
inch size will not be allowed inside the gates, this
includes bags that are folded to fit the allowed size or
placed into a clear bag.
• Pets (excluding properly identified
ADA escorts).
None of the above restricted items may
be left in or around the gate area. Please return items
to your vehicle.
California Speedway reserves the right
to refuse entry of any item deemed inappropriate
Pre-Race Pit Passes
Pre-Race Pit Passes are not good for gate
admission. A separate admission ticket isrequired for
each day of entry. No refunds or exchanges. The
sanctioning body and California
Speedway reserve the right to alter the access to
these areas at the discretion of sanctioning body
officials and speedway officials. Guests may purchase a
pre-race pit pass from California Speedway’s ticket
office. Pre-Race Pit Pass access depends on the specific
event weekend.
NASCAR Weekends (Auto Club 500 & SONY
HD 500): Access is limited to the area behind team’s pit
boxes only for the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series weekends.
There will be NO garage access this weekend. Make sure
you visit the Pit Pass Check-In area at the pit entrance
(Gate 79) to ensure your credential is validated prior
to entering the pits. Please note that there are
different rules on different days for pit passes during
NASCAR weekends.
• Friday and Saturday NASCAR Pit Pass
Rules: The pit pass minimum age requirement is 18 years
of age. For your safety, shirt and closed-toe shoes must
be worn; shoulders and legs must be covered. No shorts.
Pits close at least one (1) hour prior to race. The only
entrance to the pits from the grandstands is through the
tunnel near Turn 4.
• Sunday Only Rules: The pit pass
admittance and dress code rules will be relaxed.
Children 17 and under may accompany a paid adult on
Sunday only. Weather-appropriate attire (i.e., sandals
and shorts for hot weather) is advised on NASCAR
Sunday’s. Guests may sign their name on the start/finish
line and relax on the tri-oval grass while pit road is
open. Guests who choose to explore pit road must be
mindful of security and NASCAR officials. Guests may
enter through the tunnel or through crossover gates
adjacent to pit-in and pit-out. Pits close one (1) hour
prior to race.

Handicap Parking
A DMV-approved handicap-parking pass is
required for parking in specially marked spaces. Several
handicap parking spaces are available in Lot 1; Terrace
Suite handicap parking is adjacent to the infield water
tower for those with infield vehicle credentials. NOTE:
The person for whom the disabled parking permit has been
issued must be present. Proof of DMV registration for
permit may be required.
Guests With Disabilities
Tickets can be purchased in advance or on
race day (subject to availability). Each disabled guest
may be accompanied by one attendant/companion, with
seating provided. Ushers can provide assistance and
direct guests to the top row and front row of the
grandstands. Concessionaires will be available to assist
guests with beverage needs.
Elevators: Disabled guests are encouraged to use
the two center elevators located in the Race Control
Tower at Section 1. Elevators are also available in the
East and West Towers. Lines may occur, so please allow
enough time to be seated.Ramps: There are two ramps in
the main grandstand, one located near Section 79 to the
top of the grandstands; a second at the far east end of
the grandstands to the Terrace Level.
Transportation: The speedway has
handicap accessible trams that operate throughout race
weekends. Roving Guest Services Ambassadors, on golf
carts, can assist with transportation. Information Booth
Ambassadors can also dispatch specially prepared
disability transports to various locations throughout
the facility. Please note that demand at peak times can
create delays, so please allow enough time to be
transported and seated.
